교사선교회는교사선교회(TEM)는 복음적이며 전문적인 기독교 선교기관으로 1974년 ‘인천교대 기독학생 동문회’로 시작되어 1988년 “하나님은 당신을 교사로 부르셨습니다.”라는 사명선언문 아래 ‘교사선교회’로 이름을 바꾸어 선교단체로 정식 출범한 기독교사들의 모임이다. 현재 전국 36개 지역의 교사모임과 12개(필리핀 PNU 포함) 캠퍼스의 예비교사모임이 있다.
교사선교회는 하나님의 부르심에 신실하게 응답하고 예수 그리스도의 책임 있는 제자의 삶을 감당하기 위해 교사양육과 제자양육(디모데 양육)에 헌신하고 있으며, 특히 매년 500-600명의 학생들이 양육을 통해 신실한 그리스도의 제자로 성장하고 있다.
또한 교사선교회는 해외교육선교에도 소망을 가지고 지속적으로 선교사를 파송하고 있으며, 현재 4개국(필리핀, 태국, 우간다, 미국)에 7명의 교사선교사를 파송하고 있다. 그리고 해마다 GMP와 연계하여 국내외선교훈련을 실시하고 있다.
아울러 신음하고 있는 ‘교육의 회복’을 위해 기독교대안학교인 금산 별무리학교와 템북 출판사를 설립하여 운영하고 있으며, ‘신앙과 가르침’이 통합된 기독교교육의 전문성 향상에도 힘쓰고 있다.
Teachers Evangelical MissionThe Teachers' Mission (TEM) is an evangelical and professional Christian missionary organization that began in 1974 as the "Incheon National University of Education Christian Student Alumni Association." It officially launched as the "Teachers' Mission" in 1988, under the mission statement, "God has called you to be a teacher." Currently, there are teacher groups in 36 regions nationwide and prospective teacher groups on 12 campuses (including PNU in the Philippines).
The TEM is dedicated to the training of teachers and disciples (including Timothy) to faithfully respond to God's calling and live as responsible disciples of Jesus Christ. Each year, 500-600 students are nurtured and grow into faithful disciples of Christ.
The TEM also has a passion for overseas educational missions and continues to send missionaries. Currently, seven teacher missionaries are dispatched to four countries (the Philippines, Thailand, Uganda, and the United States). We also conduct domestic and international missionary training annually in conjunction with the GMP.
Furthermore, to support the recovery of education, which is currently struggling, we established and operate the Geumsan Byeolmuri School, a Christian alternative school, and the Tempbook Publishing Company. We are also striving to enhance the professionalism of Christian education, which integrates faith and teaching.
